"They say that women are too judgmental, where, of course, men are just more grateful" yes it's correct. women are like that! therefore sometimes I feel easy to talk to man than woman.

I find it quite funny that men like to make fun of the weaker sex than the other way round. Is it in men’s nature that they feel so comfy in the bosom of the fairer sex that they find nothing better to do? Are men ungrateful?
回覆刪除[版主回覆09/06/2010 17:13:00]Some men are definitely ungrateful. If they are, perhaps they are so mainly out of an unacknowledged fear that women got so much power over them! It's a bit like whistling in the dark! Whatever the truth may be, I don't think that I can find anything which gives the impression that we are making fun of women in the jokes. They just state some quite common factual phenemena. Jokes are a socially acceptable manner of venting their fears without appearing to be afraid. They defend by attacking.
haha, though it is monday, but the jokes still work "bad or naughty if they happen to be English ladies" ------ you know how hypo those english ladies are.

Life has sufficient miseries to make us want to get a brief respite from time to time. And what better way to hit back by making a joke out of something which might otherwise cause many endless misery!
