Leaves and Flowers in the Rain

As far as plants are concerned, there are just two magicians. One comes only during the day. The other can come whether it is day or night. I'm talking about sunshine and rain. Today, we've got torrents of the latter. But it's not all bad. It gave me lots of photos.

It gave me crystals upon leaves.

Big ones, small ones, rolling down the surface of leaves.

About to fall off

or gathering upon the thirsty tongues of the leaves.

collecting on the underside of the branches.

or on the surface of a lotus leaf.

or the petals of the lotus.

at its heart.

or near to its "heart"

or upon the tips of its petals.

gathering, growing, sliding and dropping off the sides of the petal.

I like watching them as they gradually take shape, as their weight builds up slowly, steadily until it reaches it maximal point, hesitating a little and then suddenly fall off and then the whole process starts all over again at the same or some other spot.

They all came from this lotus in the rain.

Or is it from this one?
