We're all used to the image of tulips being a kind of thick-petalled long oval cup-shaped flower. But if I may rely upon what my own eyes tell me, we may have committed a gross underestimation their potential for variation in shapes and textures.
Would you believe it? These are tulips too!
Their petals need not be thick.
They can be quite complex too
Does it look like that kind of tulip we got in our head?
See what I mean?
These conform a bit more to our conventional image of the tulip
Some are much less forward than others
Slightly more so
The tips of these stamens look a bit shy
These too
But not these
See how they bloom?
Their interior can look like little flowers within flower too
They can look light instead of heavy too
These look like they're all of one "heart" in what they want to do
A tulip in full bloom
How strong and soft at the same time!
But whether they are bold or shy, whether they are strong or weak, somehow they always look better when the sun is out!
