Language can sometimes be a problem for foreigners,especially in their daily life. Not infrequently they can be the cause of some unexpected fun. What do I mean?
A German woman married an American gentleman in New York and although the poor lady was not very proficient in English, she somehow managed to communicate quite well with her husband, with the assistance of body language.
But she had a real problem whenever she had to shop for groceries when the maid was off.
One day, she went to the butcher's and wanted some chicken legs. As she didn't know quite how to put forward her request, so she clucked like a chicken and lifted up her skirt and showed her thighs. The butcher got the message and gave her what she was after.
The next time her maid was off, she wanted some chicken breasts. Again as she didn't know how to say it, she clucked like a chicken and unbuttoned her blouse and showed the butcher her breasts. The butcher understood and gave her some chicken breasts.
On the third similar occasion, the poor lady needed to buy some sausages. Unable to find a way to communicate this, she brought her husband to the store. She got what she wanted. What do you think happened? Scroll down.
